Correction, although there was no mention in the papers, there were FOUR armed robberies last night, consisting of three to four armed men in each hit….and according to the Chinese owners who I interviewed this morning, they were the very same culprits who robbed them the day before. Also BOTH gas stations according to sources were hit last night, above are photos of every establishment that was hit last night.
What’s shocking is that for Ho’s Supermarket and St Peters Supermarket it was the second robbery in as many days, and now more stories are coming from merchants in St Peters.
It has become a weekly or bi-weekly custom, for businesses to be held up in St Peters,
MANY SHOP OWNERS, NO LONGER CALL THE POLICE, so there are many robberies, that people outside of St Peters are simply not aware of.
The situation has been dangerous for a while, and it’s getting worse.
The businesses opened again this morning.
When I spoke to one owner, she was waiting to speak to the police again.
To be continued
IT WAS THE SECOND ROBBERY IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS FOR HO’S SUPERMARKET, AND THE ST PETERS SUPERMARKET.
At approx. 8:00pm, I left Ho’s Supermarket, shortly after there was a scene outside of Ho’s. Since there was a huge Friday night crowd in front of the grocery store, it was not unusual for it to be noisy. When the police showed up 10 minutes later, I arrived and found out that 3 armed assailants had brazenly walked into Ho’s Supermarket, all carrying guns and robbed them. BUT FIRST, they had entered the St Peters Supermarket, LESS THAN 5 minutes earlier, and robbed them at gunpoint, but that was only BEFORE they held up the Texaco gas station at Grand Marche. Ambulances were in St Peters and at the Texaco station.
I briefly interviewed the owners, but they were distraught since IT WAS THE SECOND ROBBERY FOR BOTH STORES IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS.
Also there were THREE robberies yesterday, the third happened at the Chinese groceries, where four assailants came in, and held up the owners. Whether the owners called the police again or not is unclear, since they too were robbed less than two weeks ago.
According to one eye witness who sat outside Ho’s Supermarket, as the robbers walked in. “They had guns, and with the fireworks, they could have taken us all out, and no one would have known.”
He explain that the crowd could do nothing, because each man had a gun.
The owner also described the three men as being armed with guns.
In the video which is straight raw footage, I speak to the owner, and am at the scene of all three robberies, getting the information.
No one has been caught, as yet.
Processing the video, triple robbery in St Peters. I was on the scene unfortunately since it was my neighbours. Three armed men robbed the Texaco gas station, then robbed Connies’ St Peters Supermarket, then headed into Ho’s Grocery store, all armed with guns. AND SURROUNDED BY PEOPLE!.
I will have more information with the videos that are being uploaded. The videos include the police arrival, interview with the owner of Ho’s and video of the Texaco robbery where ambulances were present.
Just learned that Patsy’s son has been released from jail. It was a year ago that he lost his mother at the same time, most people know he’s the one who helps and takes care of his grandmother. Let’s hope he’s learned his lesson. In St Maarten there are many youth who need guidance, as opposed to jail. Many youths will be lost to the system, there needs to be alternatives to locking up these youth in holding cells, or putting them in prison. If anything, St Maarten needs some type of guidance organization, to assist they youngsters who are straying.
Happy New Years to Alex, his brother and grandma
This is an ADULT blog, the above is ADULT humour. Okay it is somewhat sick, but we’re used to the sick shizz in St Maarten. Please don’t contact complaining about your kids seeing the above photos. It’s parody, adult humour, on an adult, political blog. Monitor your kids online, don’t expect anyone else to do it, and enjoy Morgan Le Fay‘s new “art” work: ANTONIO’S XMAS GIFT!
By the way, Julian got his wig at a Jamaican store on Backstreet.
Enjoy the photos,
Antonio Brown has a whole calender dedicated to his person coming out.
These photos are from a few minutes ago. With 4 ships in port, you would think that Fronstreet businesses would find an alternative to unloading on Frontstreet. It causes a chain reaction, and within minutes traffic is backed up to the “Paper Garden” store. Maybe part of the New Years resolution for SXMPD, is to better control the unloading on Frontstreet, and FINE the businesses who do.
